Clare Weller is a presenter with a strong background in national, international and regional news having been the face of ITV's Anglia Tonight for 11 years and an anchor on the ITV News Channel. She is also an experienced television, radio and newspaper journalist, working for ITV Meridian and BBC Radio Kent.

After seeing what we did with Stephen Lee's website, Clare contacted us in December 2008 asking for help with her own website. What she had was a very out-dated, one-page website. We started from scratch and bought it into the 21st century by creating a bold design. The simple layout meant we could be flexible with each page, whilst maintaining the overall layout.

We came up with a similar design to the website we created for Stephen Lee, which had been successful for him in showcasing his work. We created a bold header with a large image of Clare which stands out from the page. The first paragraph on the homepage is big and bold and helps sum up what Clare does. We use blue quite heavily throughout the site, the colour is often associated with news and business, it's clean and keeps the website looking fresh.

The website uses HTML, PHP and CSS for styling and positioning. For pages with video on, we use the open source JW Player and for the gallery page, we used a lightbox for easy navigation.
