Farrell & Holmes

Farrell & Holmes designs and produces hand-made textile gifts for local shops. They supply shops and boutiques in North Norfolk towns such as Burnham Market, Holt and Wells.

Brief

Norwich Designer were asked by Louise Farrell to come up with a logo for her textile gifts business, Farrell & Holmes. She needed the logo and brand to reflect a quality boutique feel. Louise supplied rough ideas as to the kind of designs she liked. Norwich Designer also needed to incorporate a bird in the logo and create different versions of the logo for various uses.

When the brand was developed, Norwich Designer were asked to create a website to showcase the creative work of Farrell & Holmes.

Solution

Over a number of months, Norwich Designer worked closely with Louise Farrell throughout the whole process on the development of the brand both offline and online. The logo was broken apart and different versions were created along with a choice of different colours. The design and development of the website followed the creation of the logo.

Result

The logo was used straight away to create a set of business cards. The newly launched Farrell & Holmes website helped to boost enquiries and sales of their products and is used to keep customers informed of news, events and offers.
