In 2009, Starstruck Media signed a deal with digial satellite channel Film24 to produce a series of 30 minute programmes called FilmXtra. The programme reviews and previews cinema and DVD releases on a weekly basis.

Starstruck Media is a long-term client and asked us to create some graphics that would be used in the programme. We first created a short opening title for their special programme, FilmXtra at the BAFTAs. The titles used the BAFTA logo so had to use special rules and be approved by BAFTA before going to air.

We were later asked to create a short animated graphic which opened a segment of the programme called Bitesize Movie Gossip. The idea was to start on a sandwich board and zoom out to a big screen in the background that shows video clips. We created the sandwich board in 3D and rendered matt and fill graphics to enable a video to be placed into the scene. The graphic is used every week on FilmXtra.
