In February 2010, writer and book editor Brett Hardman asked if I would help with an anthology that she was working on as part of a course at Bath Spa University.

Brett was running into problems with the cover and, as I had worked on the cover for her previous book 'Not About Love', she came back to me for help in making the cover print-ready. After working on a different idea (top) we returned to Brett's original white and red idea and made a number of alterations to it (bottom).

We tried a number of different fonts, colours and arrangements. We redrew the shoot in Brett's original idea, adding some effects, colour and detail. We altered the top of the shoot, creating a shattering effect around the 'o' as it pierces through the title.
