The artwork for this cover is a painting by Jenny Morris. Due to the thickness of the strokes used in the painting, simply scanning the artwork in wasn't an option. So we took several pictures of the artwork in different light settings, when we got the images onto the computer we chose the best and made some tweaks to the lighting.

The resulting image was used on the cover, it looks crisp and clear. We designed the lettering of the book title and designed the artwork around the back of the book.
